Advocates for Battered Women is a non-profit organization that takes a threefold approach to the societal challenge of domestic violence:

• Provide assistance in obtaining legal assistance and protection for victims of domestic violence
• Provide secure shelter and supportive services for domestic violence victims fleeing from abusive situations
• Educate the general public about domestic violence and how it is adversely affecting our society
