What Color Were Adam And Eve?

The short answer is : medium brown. We are all brown. Some of us are very dark brown, some of us are very light brown. It depends on the combination of our melanin genes. There is Melanin A and Melanin B, with their respective dominant and recessive alleles: A, a, B, and b. Since the first couple had every allele ever invented, their color was determined by the combination AaBb as in the chart below. The colors used here are of my own manufacture, but they serve to demonstrate the relative shades of Eve's children. Incidentally, this can be seen in actual families in India, whose people are blessed with the full set of melanin combinations.
