This website was designed with the needs of the first-time user in mind. Those of you who are new to the Internet may need a few pointers to assist you with your navigation.
First of all, you should be familiar with "Links" because the
text you clicked on to read this website is called a link. Basically links
are buttons or text you can click on with your mouse pointer to see more
information. On Nonprofit Resources' website, all the colored objects and
blue underlined text are links and will take you to the link's destination.
For example, on the preceeding page the button
and the A gateway to information about
nonprofits text will both take you to the page containing information
about the "resources" offered by this website. Notice that these
links are set up on this page to take you back to the homepage, so clicking
on them from this page will not take you to their original destination.
However, rest assured that they will work properly on the homepage.
Second, certain pages contain links that take you away from Nonprofit Resources' website. Before you click on them you should be aware that you are about to leave this website and go directly to the site refered to as the link's destination. To return to Nonprofit Resources, you will have to use the back arrows on your browser's (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.) control panel.
A better option is to use your browser's bookmark feature (on Internet Explorer click on the menu titled "Favorites" and pull down to "Add to Favorites", on Netscape click on the menu titled "Benchmarks" and choose "Add to Benchmarks"). By setting a bookmark for the page, you can always return by clicking on the "Nonprofit Resources" in your bookmark folder.
We hope you enjoy the website. Should you have any difficulties feel free to e-mail us at nonprofit@aristotle.net You will notice that our address is underlined and looks like a link. With most browsers clicking on it will call up the e-mail function and will allow you to e-mail us directly. You will find these throughout the website.
Good luck and happy surfing. To return to the homepage, click here.
