Please enjoy these interviews with actors, authors, and others who have been connected in some way to the world of ERB's "Tarzan Of The Apes". If you are passing by, fall into the above category and are willing to take the heat, drop me a line and we'll set something up. I'd love to talk to you!
For your interest, I'm also listing current prospects that I'm hoping to interview, along with the status of the project -- if you have any information that could help, please contact me here.
INTERVIEWS
Boris Vallejo -- One of the greatest Science Fiction / Fantasy artists of our time, who illustrated 12 Tarzan novel covers for Ballantine Books in the late 70's. These were some of the best covers of all!
Boris was a true gentleman for spending time with us, as he discusses his artwork and his history as a fan of Tarzan of the Apes.

Eve Brent -- Gordon Scott's "Jane", co-starring in "Tarzan's Fight For Life" and "Tarzan and the Trappers". She's still acting today, appearing in some very high profile movies and television shows.
Eve had contacted us regarding Gordon Scott and was so gracious to spend time and chat with us. The resulting conversation was very informative and enjoyable.

Gordon Scott -- Enjoyed a 5-year run as Tarzan from 1955-1960, and made some of the most popular Tarzan movies of all time.
Gordon had agreed to do an interview, and we were both looking forward to it. Unfortunately, he passed away before we had the chance to follow thru. However, I have good news. I received permission from Movie Collector's World magazine to republish a 1993 interview with Gordon by Mark Cerulli. Mark is a friend of Tarzan.CC and made this happen for us. Can't top that!
READ THE INTERVIEW
John Carl Buechler -- Horror film icon and special effects creator for "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures", and director of the episode, "Tarzan And The Mahars".
John was enthusiastic about giving an interview for the site, as he describes himself as a "HUGE ERB fan". But with all the cool things he's been a part of in his career, my challenge was to actually get to the Tarzan questions somewhere in the interview.
READ THE INTERVIEW
Marty Rendleman -- Former manager for LeAnn Rimes who is currently working with up-and-coming Country sensation Kristy Lee, and... personal friend of Jock Mahoney! This will be as close to interviewing Jocko as it gets....
READ THE INTERVIEW
Michael Tierney -- Comic books expert and ERB enthusiast. Michael is regularly sought for his knowledge of both comics and Tarzan-lore alike. He's also spoken with Danton Burroughs personally regarding the possibility of producing his own series of Tarzan comics.
Michael told me he'd be pleased to do an interview about the history of Tarzan in the comics -- it will save me a great deal of research myself!
READ THE INTERVIEW
Neal Adams -- Legendary comic book artist who also illustrated 12 Tarzan novel covers for Ballantine Books in the late 70's. Neal's vision for the ape-man is fantastic!

PROSPECTS (Current and Past)
Bruce Bennett (Herman Brix) -- Star of the 1935 serial "The New Adventures of Tarzan".
I mailed Mr. Bennett two letters that went without response. Sadly, he passed away in 2007 before we were able to speak with him. Rest in peace, Mr. Bennett...
Casper Van Dien -- Turned in one of the most accurate portrayals of the literary Tarzan character that I've seen, in 1998's "Tarzan And The Lost City".
My first attempt to contact Casper through one of his associates failed. I have since e-mailed two of his agents, and have now e-mailed him directly, but as of yet have not received a response. I was pleased and surprised, though, to see him post on one of my Gordon Scott IMDB.com threads. I'll keep you posted.
Jane Goodall -- The famous primatologist, noted chimpanzee expert, and... major Tarzan fan!
I received an e-mail from a former co-worker of Jane's who liked the site and offered to hook us up for an interview. Wow! The latest word from Jane's camp is that they are interested, and we hope to connect very soon. Stay tuned!
Joe Lara -- Star of both "Tarzan In Manhattan" and the series "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures", which ran for one full season.
I've e-mailed Joe's agent several times, but have not received a response yet. I managed to locate a relative of his who had offered to relay messages to Joe, and have now done so. She said to be patient for a response, as Joe is "not a big computer guy". Crossing my fingers!
Joe R. Lansdale -- Famed horror novelist, and co-author of "Tarzan: The Lost Adventure"!
ACCEPTED -- Joe actually contacted us after reading our comments about his book on Tarzan.CC, and is pleased to do an interview for the site. Can't wait, so stay tuned!
Mike Henry -- Played the Ape Man in three back-to-back releases during 1966-1968.
From what I understand, he left showbiz completely in the late 80's, and I have no clue how to get in touch with him. Any advice would be appreciated! I'm sure he'd have great stories to tell from his short tenure as Tarzan.
Miles O'Keeffe -- Star of the 1981 remake "Tarzan The Ape Man", with Bo Derek.
I've e-mailed Miles' agent, but have not heard back yet. Who wants to bet I can make this happen?
Thomas Yeates -- Tarzan artist for both Dark Horse Comics and Malibu Comics.
ACCEPTED -- Questions are being prepared to send to him shortly.
Wolf Larson -- Star of the 1991 series, "Tarzan".
The last I've heard, Wolf runs an acting school with former "T.J. Hooker" star Adrian Zmed. I've e-mailed him twice with no reply. I will try another avenue soon, and will keep you posted.
